Would be the ultimate honor to the team and would mean we beat the best from LeBron

NFW LeBron gets Finals MVP if the Spurs win the title. It would almost certainly be Timmy or Tony.

If the Spurs win I would not really care who won MVP, although I would really like to see that honor go to Ginobili.

Has any player from a losing team ever won Finals MVP? I know that in the NFL, for instance, the Cowboys' Chuck Howley won Super Bowl V MVP even though the Cowboys lost.

No worries. Splitter will take LeBron 1-on-1 and shut him down. Look for James to average 5 to 7 PPG at <25% FGP

Jerry West in '69. Even when the Lakers lose, they're still gifted undeserved accolades.

Miami has a younger version of the big three surrounded by shooters and scrappy bigs. Will be tough, if not impossible, to beat in 4 out of 7.

But the games must still be played.

No way I want a non-Spur to win finals MVP. Part of me has a pipe dream of Manu winning one, so each of the big 3 would be recognized. Realistically TP will take it if we win, but I also want Timmy to get his 4th.

Manu should have won in 2005 but they just didn't want it to happen. I thought 2005 couldn't have been possible without Manu's play.

Best scenario:

Spurs win title.

McGrady wins a home game with a contested, buzzer-beater 3 that changes the entire complexion of the series.

Manu goes off at least once for a 2005-esque 30 & 8.

Timmy finally posts a full quadruple-double in the series clincher that has the commentators going nuts and includes one vicious dunk on Lebron.

Perfection achieved.

Best scenario is that the Pacers beat the Heat and the Spurs sweep them.
