Frankly, that one doesn't bother me too much. It is annoying, but whatever.

What gets me is all these people talking about loosing games and hoping we don't loose.

It's one "O". LOSE. And it's definitely not just this board or anything, but a recurring problem I find everytime I cruise the internet. And don't get me started on there/their/they're.

I too have noticed the "TBH" trend appear here. It's been interesting watching it spread like a plague across the site gradually. Two years ago I never noticed it, and now it's almost compulsive for some people. There are some that can't post a comment without it. I have to wonder if someone that puts that in every post actually talks that way? It reminds me of "like" for some people. "So I was, you know, like watching this movie, and, like, it was hilarious!" Or IMO. That's another one that I too have found interesting. Isn't your take on something your opinion? Does it need to be clarified that it indeed is your opinion? It's a compulsion for some to end the sentence with either.

To fully inform those of you that are unaware, it came about because people complained about it. If you'd like me to be frank, you should probably know that continuing to start threads complaining about it is unlikely to get you the result you desire. In order not to be deceitful, I'm not tired of it yet.

I pointed out 1-2 years ago that any rational poster would be honest. Since then "tbh" usage has only mushroomed, though its usage seems particular to the vernacular of the geniuses on here.

(translation: some dumb ass started it and monkey see monkey doo it spread like wildfire on here)

tbh, I have never seen it used elsewhere, so perhaps Spurs Talk can take credit for creating it, though that is not all that impressive

Oh, ffs. Overthinking this a little, aren't you OP? TBH, no, not tired of it. It's less an attestation of veracity, and more of a emphatic point in vernacular, tbh.

Plenty of bigger things to be bugged over (the seemingly rampant casual homophobia and constant acceptable degradation of women, as well as the seemingly frequently racism displayed are much more irritating, tbh. But the trade off is being able to be as foul mouthed as I like to be on the internets, so meh).
