Reviews rarely hurt a box office anymore, most movies make all their money in the first 2 weeks then when it comes out on DVD\Blu-Ray.

I heard Will Smith's film is the end of his career and he's trying way too hard to promote that little niglet. Aside from that, I heard Hangover 3 was HORRIBLE and aside from something that happens in the ending, the entire film is just a way to take ur $.

Thank goodness for pirating :-D

For real though. It seems like he's trying to elevate his son up to his level. Not gonna happen.

The movie looks alright though. I thought about going but I dont know. I'll probably do a double dip with Superman and then sneak into this one later. :lol

as much as i like Will Smith i still have to censure him for his excessive efforts of promoting his son in hollywood. and hollywood is never a fair stage for female actors to begin with. guy like Will can get married with a non-celebrity and have kids, and in a few years he can co-star with his kid in the films, but to most female celebrities, leaving the studio for about a year would be a calamity to their careers, something they can hardly afford

Can't wait till his son falls apart and gets addicted to heroin.

I would've been pumped to see this movie if it weren't for a fucking teenager playing the main. Not only is it his young age but he has to look like a fucking feminine little faggot. He looks like he should be modeling for American Eagle. And Will Smith being all melodramatic gets annoying. The whole calm but heavy lines he gives in the trailer make me :rolleyes

no fucking way

so the movie was written by a 13 yr old?

Will Smith's son constantly looks like he's worried about something.

Thoughts on what it could be?

And as far as the writers of the movie, one of them was M Night Shamalamadingdong; that already makes it plenty gay. I also heard it was basically a scientology circle jerk.

First mention of M knight is this far in, surprising. They kept his name out for first time in a while.

Hollywood hasn't been interested in quality writing/films for decades.
Sell it with surgical marketing, make a profit....move on to the next guaranteed moneymaker.

Hopefully this is the final nail in M. Night Shamyllan's coffin. They didn't even use his name to promote the movie

Also co wrote it. Not to mention nothing but Will Smith's scientologist buddies produced it.

Yea, I'm surprised it took that long for his name to be mentioned too.

They purposely didn't advertise it. M. Night Shyamalan is enough for me to look the other way with no expression anymore. It's not even funny anymore. It's not even worth my time to laugh at him or roll my eyes. I'm actually already upset that I've wasted these words on him, tbh.

Well he co-wrote it. Its not all his idea.

Doing a wiki it appears Will Smith has more of an input story wise than Shamawahetverhisnameis.

M. Night was the perfect director for this, so he has to commit harakiri, when this movie was Smith's doing

LOL...

I don't care for some of his movies, but I like most of them. I'll simply buy it when it comes out in Bluray. Should be a safe bet.
