Pussifeid i'd say. NO way he's done when he averaged 25/6/6 in the winning streak.

I think it's mostly #3, but Game 5 really made me wonder if it is the first one.

Everything works ok right before it starts not working as good and then breaks.

Yeah he seemed to go from averaging 21pts on 52% to done in one month :lol

I know Nono is trolling but there's idiots that really believe that.

let's say his knee is really jacked up....we know Wade is one of the biggest juicers in the league, would a haltime protein shake of HGH and groundup fetuses heal up the knee at all, or is this something that needs offseason surgery?

tbh, I didn't see any threads talking about the subject on the NBA forum, so I figured I'll start one.. I'm glad people are finding out about this issue... I don't really have a problem with Wade... during the Heat win streak, he and Harden were the top two SGs in the league... maybe he's just tired or hurt...

Even if this is it, it has been a great run for the top shooting guard of the last 10 years. Still can't believe he was able to drag that 2010 team to 47 wins when his best teammate was a completely finished Jermaine O'Neal.

We'll see next year. If he starts another season this injured I'll say he's done. If I had to put money on it, I'd say he's not gonna average over like the low 20s again in a season.

They're supposed to start testing for HGH soon, which explains why Kirby suddenly changed his tune from "I'm playing 'til I'm 40" to "I'm retiring soon" :lol

He's not playing great, but sometimes matchups happen to be like that... it doesn't mean he won't raise his game in the Finals... same applies to Turnobili, tbh...

Wade is not only on the decline in general but also playing hurt, similar to Ginobili against the Grizz when we were unable to make it out of round one. The second or third guy, especially if he's an energy guy makes a huge difference. We've seen with Durant that one star may not be enough to pull through no matter how great and I think a hurt Wade is not much better than a guy like Pondexter or Tony Allen. This really makes the Heat not just a little worse but a lot worse. If Wade can't somehow heal in the next couple of weeks, then LeBron will need to play flawlessly, clutch and arguably better than anyone ever has for the Heat to win.

He is banged up and needs to rest, I would not say he is done though by any means. He when healthy is still a very good player.

Wade is getting close to being done. He's been playing like shit for a while but in the NBA, you can still have a role as a shitty player. If he doesn't get out of this slump, he will probably be coming off the bench in 2 or 3 years if he hasn't already retired. I guess shooting all those free throws in the 2006 Finals did a lot of damage to his body and endurance. Oh well, he should thank Stern for that.

Spo should get credit for resting him throughout the season, and controlling the juicing so his jaw doesn't explode, tbh... he's been up and down in the Finals so far, but he's still fighting out there...

In these Finals so far:

Wade: 18ppg
Green: 12ppg

Difference between the two? Freebies. This a win for the Spurs. Plus Green is getting a ton of steals.

Wade was arguably more effective last year. Green's had very little problem locking Wade down this series, with only a couple of contested twos and some fouls to represent the impact Dwyane is having offensively with Danny on him. Last year, Wade had no trouble putting up points on Green. This year, he pretty much ducks his head until Ginobili and especially Beli come in.

Stephen A. Smith was saying wades knees are "clearly" bothering him & he isn't 100%

He was 100% OK in previous rounds against subpar teams though.

In fact, the knees were clearly bothering him in the first half, but miraculously became 100% in the 2nd half, especially in the 3rd quarter, where Wade's knees were functioning at 116%.

Screaming A. Smith just being a Heat apologist.
