2x NCAA champion
1x Olympic Gold
7x All Star
5x All-NBA
ROY

I personally think the HOF requirements are way too light but judging at previous players, Grant Hill will be competitive. Someone should start a more exclusive HOF.

this one is tough, but ill give it to him.

I say no. Otherwise you have to let in guys like Carter and McGrady.

Of course he is, since it's the "basketball" HOF. If it was exclusively NBA, then no.

Might as well throw Anthony Davis and Al Horford in then if we're going to factor in college careers.

Bruh - they have always factored that in.

Grant Hill is a hall of famer. There is no valid argument against.

Is Jason Kidd a HOF? To me that's more questionable.

False.

He could have been, but he's not. You should not get HOF for your personality and how great you were that one year.

Getting out played by Christian Laettner = fail

No, but he should be remembered as one of the greats, even if his career was hampered by his constant injuries.

It's the Basketball Hall of Fame and not just the NBA Hall of Fame after all.

He did a commercial with Tim Duncan, so he's good enough in my book.

Of course he was a key compoment on those Duke teams. Hurley and Laettener were better college players but no way they upset UNLV or beat Michign fab 5 without him supplying some athleticism. He also was Lebron "lite" before James tbh ...

And Bill walton set a siliar path except he won a ring as a alpha before his body broke down and another as a let's say Gamma on the celts ...

Obviously walton is far more deserving but you could also argue Hill was a poor man's Walton ...(Career wise)

If Grant Hill gets into the HOF it lowers the standards and prestige of the entire concept. Guys like Iguodala will suddenly have a chance to be HOFers. Hill was a solid basketball player but too injury prone. Plus he doesn't have a ring.

I wouldn't call Walton and Hill similar. Aside from Walton winning a title and an MVP, he is also arguably the greatest college player of all-time. Walton's about the only player I'd factor NCAA performance for HOF placement.

Why are we talking HOF when he plays in Game 7 in two hours?

Definitely yes.

Yes. It's the Basketball Hall of Fame, not the Professional or NBA Hall of Fame. Tie in his college accomplishments and I think he's in.

injuries shot his ass down ...... good numbers and deserve for the Hall of the Very Good but not the Hall of Fame.

Still can't believe we let James walk after 06. Just sad the way Pop hates dunkers and 4 MVPs later he might be pissed next round tbh. Still remember that crazy oop he got from Oberto. :depressed
