Damned straight. People talk so much about Wade showing up and how Miami will be unbeatable if that happens. But I'd take Supermanu over 100% Wade any day. He's healthy enough to have a big impact. Let's hope the ten days of rest will make him even better.

Probably not going to happen. There is a long list of things that will probably happen before SuperManu shows up:

-Timmy drops 25 and 15 throughout the first two games and the Spurs split
-Lebron shoots under 45%
-Tony Parker figures out the pick and roll traps
-Danny Green continues his hot streak
-Matt Bonner hits a meaningful 3
-Tiago outplays Bosh
-Battier fined for a flop

I want to believe in Manu. I absolutely know Manu can play his best basketball in the biggest of games. I know he has more desire than most of the Heat players combined. And I know he is going to give his all on this (possibly) last title run.
That could be enough for some vintage Super Manu moments. If anyone can will a big game out of an aging body it's got to be Manu. Do it Manu.

I find it interesting that both Duncan and Parker have said that they think Manu has been "coasting" and saving himself for a possible moment like this. I think he's capable of having a huge Finals series. I don't necessarily mean scoring the ball, but his playmaking could be huge in this Finals series. I'd run ALOT of pick and roll with him and Tiago with shooters out on the 3 point line. One thing is for sure, with all the talk about this being the last possible trip to the Finals with this core group of Tim, Tony, and Manu, we know they are going to leave all out on the floor and do everything they can to try and win this title....

We can dream big that's what moments like the finals are all about!
I think we all know how he's played-we know he's been turnobili and inconsistent mixed with flashes of old Manu.
But he's had a hell of a long rest, he says he's feeling great, he's the winningest player if you include international and olympic play. I mean the guy knows what it takes to win and he can go balls to the walls-it's the finals.

Manu has made me curse his name this year more than any since he's been a Spur. When he's been bad or off, he's been terrible. But even through all the no look turnovers, off-balance - falling backwards passes, insanely bad 3 pts shots...he hasn't stopped playing his ass off. He gives everything he has when he is on the court and still wants to win more than anything. So...even if he doesn't score like he used to, I can always count on him trying to take a charge, keeping the ball movement going, snagging big rebounds and making the defense play honest.

My concern for game 1 is shaking off the rust. Hopefully the fresher legs will prevail at the end. I don't care how small the margin of victory, I just want the Spurs to win. Just win. It starts now, and not when we get back to San Antonio for the 3,4 & 5. Start winning now.
