We shouldn't worry about Pop having trouble outcoaching Spoelstra, tbh...even if he gives Bonner extended minutes.

First CIA Pop move -- since the Spurs aren't likely to win Game 1, the Big 3 and Kawhi won't travel to Miami until Saturday.

Rope a dope, TBH.

Aight guys in all seriosness now... In order to defend LeBron, I could see Pop rotating Kawhi and... DIAW on him. If you recall correctly Diaw did a relatively decent job on LeBron earlier in the regular season. Kawhi will likely be the primary defender, but I could see Diaw playing a larger role in the finals than we anticipated.

And considering the Heat's relatively small lineups, I could see a Spurs lineup on the floor at any random time during the game of:

Splitter
Diaw
Green
Ginobli
Joseph

Doesn't sound like much, but this could honestly work better than we think. You match Splitter on say, Birdman, Diaw on LeBron, maybe Green on Battier, Ginobili on Wade, and Joseph on Cole. Not the greatest lineup in the world, but I think we could realistically keep up with them. Cory Joseph's D might also be a pleasant surprise in the Finals, tbh.

GO SPURS GO!!!

Diaw and Neal will (yes Neal) will play big factors. Diaw can provide serviceable defense on Lebron and will post smaller players as he did in the gs series and neal plays his best when you expect his worst add to the fact that he doesn't fear the big moment. Pop has his CIA cards in order

I would love to see Neal re-emerge as the player he was in his rookie season. That version of Neal could actually prove to be quite useful against the heat. Of course, his defense does alarm me... :depressed

#16?? Could it be?..I know most will laugh but the spurs cannot defend this team w/o a 7'er on the floor, at all times. I really hope pop understands this. :-\

I agree that Neal will go off in game one or two and draw some more attention. He's not afraid of being a chucker.
