If it happened who would of won and how many games

2005-Spurs in 6
2006-Heat in 7 Wade was healthy and on a mission

Both teams were 1 game away from making this happen.Spurs would of beat Suns in 2006 WCF.

I'm sure the Spurs would have won both times, probably 4-1 in one Finals and 4-2 in the other.

This very topic has been on my mind of late, actually - a Spurs vs. Heat series has long been in the waiting. The Spurs and Heat could have easily met in the Finals in 2005, 2006, and 2012.

I've long wanted a Spurs-Heat Finals - too bad that this year's is against a 66-win team.

Bowen would shut down wades ass quicker than a i7 ivy bridge with an SSD

Wade was gimpy in 2005 so that would have made things easier for the Spurs. Spurs in 5.

The 2006 Spurs were actually a better team imo and would have won in 6.

Spurs would have easily won in 06, 05 would have been tougher but Spurs would have won that one as well.

Spurs win both. The only bad matchup that potentially could hurt em was dallas and that happened.

That was the worst matchup possible for the Spurs... ugh still painful.

:rollin spurs '06 would have won in 5 games, TOPS.
Nazr and Rasho were fully rested from hardly playing in the West, we had two solid centers to negate Shaq, and Wade could have averaged 20FTs a game and still not out produce Duncan, Tony, and Manu. Nu-uh, no way.

The 06 Heat were far and away the worst team to win a championship in the modern era...they totallyblew, and thanks to Cuban/Mavs choke fest, it legitimized the most overrated SG in the post Jordan era

If the Spurs played the Heat in the 2012 NBA Finals, I'm not sure about that...........that would have been a 50/50 chance, but I'd still think Spurs would win in 6.

Spurs win both.

Definitely take 05 and Bowen on Wade in 06 = series over.
