Join your fellow Spurs fans this Thursday night for GAME 1 of the NBA Finals at Cover 3 on Anderson Lane. They have offered to reserve a table for our group. I need your accurate head count by 5:30 PM today. The Austin Toros will be co-hosting this event with former Texas Longhorn forward and son of Spurs General Manager RC Buford, Alexis Wangmene. Those in attendance who donate new or gently used books will receive 2013-2014 Austin Toros ticket vouchers in exchange. Leading Through Reading, founded by former Longhorn and Austin Toros forward Alexis Wangmene, is a nonprofit organization that promotes the importance of literacy and education.
Also - The Toros will be raffling off an official "BEST IN THE WEST" SPURS CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS T-SHIRT as well as a pair of Spurs tickets to a game next season and MANY other cool prizes throughout the night. The book drive will go on from 7-9 PM and game tips off at 8.
