Check out La Cantera and The Rim if you want to go shopping. They have a couple of nice places to eat too. It isn't hard to get into Nueve and you might run into some Spurs players after the game. Try some Whataburger, Rudy's BBQ, and Mama Margies before you leave the city.

Absolutely nothing. Outside of the games, I'd say just drink a lot of shiner or lone star and hope you fall asleep.

The fan shop in the AT&T center has a bunch of overpriced Spurs gear, I'd just buy it online but some people don't like waiting. La Cantera is the closest thing SA has to the San Marcos outlets. http://www.theshopsatlacantera.com/visit

Fiesta Texas and Sea World, the Alamo, Tower of the Americas, Witte Museum, McNay Art Museum, and there's always something going on at the downtown convention center.

Burgers - Whataburger, Chris Madrids, Armadillos, Five Guys

Tex Mex - Las Palapas, Alamo Cafe, Pappasitos (fajitas!)

Barbeque - Rudy's, Bill Miller, Smokey Mo's

If you are French go to Frederick's in Alamo Heights, or Frederick's Bistro on NW Military HWY near Huebner. (The owner is a French Vietnamese). Good American (well prepared) - Cappy's in Alamo Heights. If L'Etoile is still open on Broadway in Alamo Heights, try it out. Excellent seafood - go to Wildfish on 1604 at Huebner. I thought that Malik's closed. Maybe it just moved.

You can also check out the Spanish Governor's Palace, located downtown.

I must warn you. Don't expect to see something like the Palace of Versailles. :lol

I live in Austin & always trying to find something to do in SA after & before gms. It's almost like my 2nd home. There is a WHATABURGER in the ATT center. Right outside your 105 section, so you can try the burger there. As for the MAN vs Food video, I usually end up at Big Lou's Pizza myself. That damn Brisket Pizza is the best. I wish they would build one in Austin. We got a handful of Rudys BBQ over here & its pretty good. Austin, Texas or the Central Texas area is KING when it comes to BBQ. We got Salt Lick, Franklins, County Line, Muellers & the list goes on. The San Marcos outlet is def a nice place to shop and is about 20-30 north of SA. As for Spurs gear, I've been to every mall & can never really find what I want. Been everywhere looking for both Kawhi & Green stitched jerseys & game shorts(not grays). No Luck!!!!:bang Best spot is a store called Lids Locker. Theres one in a few malls in SA & one at the outlet. In Austin we got a store called Fanzz which is pretty good with Spurs stuff, but there is not one in SA. Only Houston & for All Star wkend they did a shitty job by shipping everything to the Houston area AS wkend. So I couldnt find a Timmy or TP All Star jersey. Well Good Luck & enjoy your Texas trip.

The ladies are on the streets of S Presa and on Zarzamora tbh. Plenty of scrip clubs too if youre just looking for a lapdance instead of a BJ. Goodluck and have fun. :tu

I hate the game but...

Golf.

We have courses everywhere. Literally everywhere and we have experienced some really good rain lately so the courses should be in great shape. You could spend a month here and still not get the full experience.

Golf.

I hate the game but...

Mexican: The west side Henry's Puffy Tacos... Look at the walls. Some pretty amazing stuff.

Rain = sloppy course, tbh. Depends on how long it's been since it rained..

Courses are very nice right now. The heat and humidity is another story. Some of the farther south city courses don't dry as well and got more rain.

Golf, a good walk spoiled...
