With the Spurs going to their 4th NBA Finals in the Big Three era, the Spurs are considered the heavy favorites in the series. Tim Duncan is All-NBA First team. Manu Ginobili saves his best for the playoffs and Tony Parker is the best player in the world today. I'd even say that Tony Parker is better than MJ in his prime. The Spurs will simply go out and do what they're supposed to do with no hype, no storylines, no dramas, no shockers or upsets.
This Heat team had a lot of hype in the summer of 2010, but has failed to live up to their expectations. This Heat team reminds me a lot of the mid 90's Lakers...LeBron James is basically an overhyped Nick Van Exel. Chris Bosh is Vlade Divac. Dwayne Wade is Eddie Jones. A very average team. Nothing special.
When the Spurs go out and win the championship, there should be no big celebrating on this board. No trash talk. No championship parades. The Spurs are just taking care of business.
If not for a late clock start in 2004, a non foul call on Dirk in Game 7 in 2006, and non foul call on Derek Fisher in 2008, the Spurs would be looking at their 7th championship in 11 seasons this year. The Spurs really were the champions in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. And will be this year.
Again, no trash talking. Nothing personal against the Heat. I just don't see Nick Van Exel, Vlade Divac, and Eddie Jones beating the Spurs.

Superfriends are way above the level of Divac/NVE/Jones or whatever names you can think of here. They where all the #1 of legit playoff teams before joining together in Miami, no team comes close to them in terms of talent level imho.
Miami have also have their own weakness though. they're rather weak in the paint and their coach only has the IQ of a coconut, but Bron is just so great he's probably gonna take care of everything and win the series. Spurs will have their chance but nothing is guaranteed at this point of time, it's gonna be a evenly matched series with the Heat slightly favored
