So why not play Mills or even T-Mac? Or even better, give the shots to someone else. Neal has played like shit alllll season long, even throughout the playoffs.

I will stick by my gut and says this bum Neal shows up huge in this series, the sun shines on a dogs ass every now and then and I feel this is what neal is built for. But his defense is beyond incompetent

Neither Mills nor T-Mac has played minutes that matter these playoffs, and you think they're somehow going to come into a super-intense Finals game and suddenly step up? If it scares me to have to use our full 10-man rotation in this series, it terrifies me far more to go even deeper into the bench.

So unless we can play our better players for longer minutes (doubtful), we're going to see some Gary Neal. And if Neal is the guy who's open, Neal has to take the shot -- and I'd certainly force him to prove he can hit the shots if I was Spo, so I expect he'll get more attempts. Passing up the shot would be far worse than simply missing it, because it breaks the scheme.

Manu is playing decent. Neal is hesitant and was running point for a couple of times which was horrible

A long time ago I would have agreed. After Neal's form this regular season and him being unable to pick it up in the playoffs, I just don't see this happening at all.

Ideally, hit the next pass if he can't do anything else. If he's open in the paint, that's where the ball needs to go.

But yeah, that's the price of having to play Bonner.

He's been playing hurt. If he's able to pick it up, it will be because the long layoff allowed him to regain more of his game.
