Let's not get ahead of ourselves - the Heat can still win this series.

But this was a huge win, and it does kinda make Lebron look bad with all his hyping-up statements.

I know some of y'all Spurs fans believes in jinx and all that (not necessarily you) but this one is over. Heat are outclassed. Better coach, bench players and unlike Indiana, SAS top guys can go off any game in this series. I'm willing to bet my bottom dollar the Spurs wins the series. It's not going to be done in 5, but its probably not going to go 7.

Spurs in 6 with this 2-3-2 format.

Well, last year was a bit different because OKC had home court. The pressure is now on Miami to win game 2, and then they must play 3 straight games in SA.

With that said, the Heat can totally still win the series. No lead is comfortable against them.

The signs are encouraging for San Antonio in Game 1. Spurs played like crap for 42 minutes and they still won. While the Heat could improve mainly by Lebron being more aggressive, the rest of his teammates continues to be a no show for the playoffs. Did Wade even scored a point in the second half? Bosh is hopeless at this point (6/16, 5 rebs :lol) I look at Miami's role players and its looking bleak for them tbh. Lebron will carry them, that I have no doubt but its just not enough when you're playing a team that plays collectively.

My homie with the conspiracy theory goods :lol I just don't think Stern even cares at this point. Its his last year in the league and the outcome doesn't matter much to him. If I have to play devils advocate though, Stern would probably want San Antonio to win to prove a point that in the last decade of his tenure as commish, the team that sponsors loves berate due to TV ratings, the team branded as "boring" and "unwatchable" has won 5 titles in the process.

that's what I've been saying. Stern doesn't care about anything anymore, hasn't for a while. he's been coasting as the commissioner since "basketball reasons" imo

This is bigger than Stern...this is about the NBA and their never ending agenda. Trust me man...that 3 pointer foul call on Ray Allen was no coincedence. You will see

I went back and the Spurs missed 7 in a row from the start of the 3rd to midway through the 4th when Manu hit that 3. Bosh is a career 28% 3 point shooter and was 0-4; if anything, he can shoot 4 more next game and make 1. I'll be happy with that. imo.

This.

Bosh has been horrible this year. I wouldn't bank on him catching fire. He may catch fire in a game or two but he's been struggling pretty bad this post season.

they sort of stopped Hibbert and West by going full matador strip D when the two got the ball in the post, that's how they won game 7, but this is Duncan and Splitter and Diaw we're talking about, they are as good at not getting stripped as it gets for a big man, so the missmatch battle is already in our favour, we can only lose this series if they get incredibly hot and we get very sloppy.

Losing the series wouldn't something bad to the Heat either. They can't build a real dynasty with Phillibeaner as the man in charge anyway. get him out of office and replaced by someone good, and they'll still have time to build a 3-4 year dynasty while bron is still balling at his current level

Like I said long before this series started- Westbrook going down doomed Miami. Why? Because OKC actually posed a legit threat to SA- and not really much of one to Miami. As I also stated - Miami cannot beat SA in a 7 game series
