Speaking of comedians...I just read where Freddy Soto died a few nights ago.

I just saw the "Three Amigos" a week or so ago and he was pretty funny.

Damn. :(

Sinbad, Seinfeld, Dane Cook, Nick Swardson

Great choices, all of whom could have taken the fifth spot over Godfrey.

Dane or Nick probably. Not a big Seinfeld comedian fan, a huge Seinfeld the show fan.

Sinbad was alright but too PC and family goody good.

1. Frank Caliendo...his John Madden is great, but his George Bush is dead on. you can get cell phone ring tones of Frank doing George saying, "Ring. Ring. Ring. Hey, your phone's ringing!" You'd think George Bush was in your pocket!

2. Gallagher. I know he's old, but he's still funny.

3. Redd Foxx. (they don't have to be living, do they?)

4. Flip Wilson.

5. Tim Conway and Harvey Korman. (they are both funny alone, but not as funny as they are together)

Those are my top five, but I'd like to give honrable mention to Eddie Murphy, George Carlin, Bob Newhart, Steve Martin, John Candy, John Belushi, Chevy Chase, David Brenner, and Johnny Carson.

OMG! I can't believe I forgot Dana Carvey; one of the funniest skits I ever saw on SNL was him doing Bush, Sr.

And I love Jeff Foxworthy, too! But, I like Bill Ingvall even better. I like all the "blue collar" guys. Larry the Cable Guy is hilarious.

Remember his first concert flick Richard Pryor Live In Concert?

We went to go see him in Boston on that tour about six months before the movie, then bought the album. By the time the movie came out we had the entire thing almost memorized.

Then we went to the movie and still absolutely busted our guts out.

It was the ONLY movie I've ever been to where people LITERALLY fell out of their seats into the aisles.

People have copied him so much that some of the impact is diminished, but he still was the best.

Some of these lists are hilarous. I never thought I'd see someone who liked both Gallagher and Redd Foxx.
