I'm kind of surprised some of you guys still haven't realized that people like him (and guys on Around the Horn, etc), will ALWAYS pick the popular/hot team and sink with the ship before they give a small market NBA team props. They do it with other sports too, but they are extremely guilty of it in the NBA.

So often you see their preseason predictions almost always include the "favorites" for the next year are just the two teams who were in the Finals the year before. . .regardless of age, changing teams, and health changes. Their next season predictions usually center around splash impact of flashy names, not proven track records of guys being winners or being able to work with eachother.

When I got a longer commute a couple of years ago and starting listening to podcasts on the drive, I listened to a couple from ESPN that had Cowherd on it until I realized that intentional stupidity was the basic premise of his appeal, and then I avoided him.
