Dr J says if he had to pick between LeBron and Kobe he picks ... Bryant. Says Kobe 1 of top 5 players of all time.

the list is adding up:

Kobe has in his corner:

MJ, Bird, Kareem, Shaq, Rodman, Dirk Nowitski, D-Wade, and now Dr J.

Lebron has in his corner:

Magic, Barkley, Spur fan :lol

shits getting interesting....

I wonder who Duncan and Pop thinks is the better overall player/competitor. They'd never say at this point, but it would be interesting to hear their take.

Personally, I've got Kobe over LeQueen, but that may change depending on how her career pans out.

they have no choice but to pick Kobe....a Shaq and T-Mac led team would have yielded 0 titles...Duncan would have 8 titles right now if not for Kobe and he would have buried MJ's accomplishments...so in more ways than one MJ owes Kobe a debt of gratitude for stopping the Spurs from running away with all the titles...

Right now career wise Kobe is a no brainer over Lebron. The accomplishments speak for themselves. Its a bit unfair to compare careers though as Lebron is still in his prime and could rattle of several more championships and pass Kobe. I'm starting to doubt that will happen, but it is possible.

At this point career wise it's no contest. Lebron is promising, but Kobe has a resume that's hard to compete with regardless of the reasons. Lebron is well on his way. I expect he will be in discussion vs Jordan in a few years. Kobe never will be by anyone but his idolizing Lakers trash.

Whatever. James has 1 ring and if it didn't matter he'd have stayed in Cleveland.
