He should be fired tbh, you don't throw the towel in the NBA Finals. The Heat are even more tired than us, make them play Wade and Lebron, just put the TOSBs Manu and Tim on the bench but flat out giving up shouldn't cross anyone's mind at this point.

How did this guy let the Golden State comeback happen, did he fall asleep for a while?

Win two of three at home, and all you have to do is split again in Miami. Could be much, much worse than a split though it does feel like 2-0.

We lost by 31 against Detroit in 05. He did the same thing. It was the right move!

Pop did the right thing. Let Spurs stars see the manslaughter from front row. They will be thinking about this and will be better in game 3 beacuse of it.

Spurs are going to get at least 1 hopefully 2 games in San Antonio.

Spurs in 7 bitches. stop crying

:lol Pop giving up would be bringing in Phil Jackson and George Karl as assistant coaches so they can bring their talents to the "Dirty Little Creek". You can have all three of them rise up out the floor at the ATT center before coaching a single game and start celebrating like theyre gonna win not 1, not 2, not 3, ect.

Then we almost lost game 5 if not for Horry's heroics.

I agree. Hopefully the team can get the focus from game 3 of the Warriors series. Right now the Heat have to be feeling pretty good about their adjustments.

I honestly think the Spurs will be fired up on Game 3.

:lol Duncan and Ginobili aren't young, they shouldn't play big minutes when they're down 20 in the 4th quarter in a game where Miami wasn't going to lose.

Pop is smart.

Let the players that cost us the game (big three mostly), watch on the sidelines as we get smashed in a game that could have led to a sweep.

That is the best inspiration you could get. If they aren't motivated by getting their asses kicked in the last quarter then they don't deserve to be champions.

Managing fatigue in this series will be huge. Getting the Big 3 rest in this game was the right move. Once the Heat got rolling like that, it was over.

i thought when the lead was extended to 15 early in the 4th pop should have called a timeout

when it ballooned to 24 with just under 7 mins to go, it was the right call, they werent coming back out of that hole

Loves to torture/rest the benched starters.

At some point Tim has to think this tactic is getting old, but you know he is pissed anyways.
We were really bad tonight. So much for thinking every game would be tight.
Pop would drive me pure mental with his games.

Pop has won more championships doing just that than you and me combined. Thanks for participating.
