If you laid all economists out end to end, they still wouldn't reach a conclusion...

and they won't tell you they are full of bullshit (eg, Greespan's overwhelming belief that markets are efficient and self-regulating), and

they MUST NEVER publicly disagree with the Fed and Treasury if they want advance their careers as economists, since the Fed and Treasury hand out nearly all the $$$ for papers, speeches, studies, etc, etc.
