Duncan hasn''t had good frontline since 2005 when he had Nazr and Horry in playoff beast mode.
The 07 frontline sucked around Duncan but he was in tail end of his prime.
A big man short-Story of the post 2007 Spurs.
You can throw all your per 36 stats and stuff it.

The Spurs have a criteria...
If he's under 6'9 but taller than 6'7 then Pop will use them at center

If he's over 7 feet tall they ask if he's athletic? If they answer No he's considered

He sucks

He doesn't suck. He's just not a Finals-caliber player. But he's a solid NBA player who can contribute significantly to a good team, just not to a championship team.

This will be the new normal in the post-Duncan era, so get used to it.

Splitter is mentally weak and Pop benched him after his first(bad) play.
What did u expect?

No he doesn't... he played great until this point. He'll rebound.

He doesn't necessarily "suck," he's just way out of his league this series. He doesn't belong in the Finals, esp against a team like Miami, and he sure as hell shouldn't be starting. He's a backup Center being forced to play for lack of a better option. And unfortunately it's showing.

Hopefully this really lowers his price tag this offseason, although I doubt it. He's definitely not worth the $8 or $9 million p/ year he's going to demand.
