I wanted to buy smokes the other day, and they didn't have change, so I was forced to buy other stuff, among which I got an Argentine magazine, El Grafico, sort of like SI. I got it because the Spurs championship was the cover story. Anyways, I'm just going to post some of the interesting stuff- not going to post all the bla bla about Duncan, Pop, spurs passing game, international players, ego less team, etc, because i figure that is common knowledge to spurs fans
from the interview:
* Manu mentions several times that the team played a more aggressive, counter-attack (fastbreak) style that benefitted his performance vs past seasons. Specifically, he mentions that the team went to go get the win instead of waiting for the other team to make a mistake (2004?)
from the text:
*Manu quote where he says Tony is and will continue being 2nd option
and, in a separate article rating him among other Argentine greats, there was a paragraph which, while completely politically incorrect, I found greatly amusing (and it really is not offensive but I'm sure I'll get flak all the same):
"Ginobili is as black as the blackest, best players of the NBA" (Tan negro como los mejores negros de la NBA" original quote)
