I don't see any threads recognizing Leornard for his unbelievable game. He was EVERYWHERE. The Kid just keeps maturing and getting better. Even in the finals. Unreal.

Exactly... his steals/D was f***cking amazing and got the momentum going for the Spurs but ignored from the 3's from green and neal

He was also bring the ball up court, and showed some skill in dishing the rock. Future of the team.

Leonard and Green's emergence as elite perimeter defenders has been the best development of these playoffs. They seem to be competing to see who can do a better job on Lebron. Green has been blocking his shots, and Leonard has been getting steals left and right. People keep blaming Lebron for his subpar performances, but its the Spurs defense, particularly Kawhi, who have forced these performances.

Yep, those two were great on defense in the Golden State series and now again in the Finals.

Can you imagine having two Bruce Bowen caliber defenders on the perimeter after these guys have a few years to hone their craft??

This, it is getting annoying watching all the "analysts" completely discounting the Spurs D on LeBron and just saying he needs to be more aggressive. He shot 21 times and they were almost all contested shots except for some on switches or transition. He's not getting in the lane, not just because of packing the paint, but because Leonard is staying in front of him at all times.

One of the best defensive performances I've seen all year and it's getting completely ignored. You hold the best player in the world to under 20 pts in 3 straight games, and have him shooting a bad percentage and it has nothing to do with the D apparently?

KL has been rock steady throughout this run

He's got 36 rebounds in the first 3 games of this series. That's pretty damned amazing. And a lot of the rebounds he gets would have gone to the Heat if he wasn't beasting for them. That factor has been totally un-noticed by the analysts.
