So is Bonner the only one who hasn't stepped up?
I guess it's cool for all the years of regular season work he's put in. :downspin:
buy anyway...

Green, Leonard, Splitter, Neal... in game 1 they were all balling playing, I remember being so happy that all our role players were being successful at doing what they do.

And if game 1 showed their confidence that they belonged spreading their wings, well game 3 was fully blossomed glorious and soaring to new heights.

Do ya'll recall that one game a couple years ago where Pop pulled all the starters against Dallas? It was at that point a blowout but then the second unit came all the way back... And Pop kept left them in.

Ahh it's been a minute! but I think Danny Green made the game winning shot at the buzzer but it was waved off?

And now we're here?

How funny fate is that brought all these individuals together.
They complement and enhance each other's abilities.

I understand now more fully why Pop had to cut SJAX sadly....

These guys were made of special stuff, but Pop, Duncan, Manu and Tony proved the right mix of environment, tutelage, experience, to make them thrive. They are bringing the best out of each other.

I'm so proud of of what this group is showing, the growth, the character. It's marvelous. If I had sons I'd tell them "See what happens when you work hard and believe" I'd tell them bedtime stories of Danny and Kwa, Duncan, lol... I could write a children's book about each one of them and teach a lesson.... These guys respond to adversity, they don't mope, they Spring Back.

I know it's just a basketball, but listening to their stories, watching them over the years and understanding the struggle, the way you have to accept life and forge ahead..

Bring your inside out.

This team is truly a shining example from top to bottom and I'm so grateful, they represent San Antonio.

I remember the Dallas game. So disappointing when Danny's shot was waved off
