If Diaw was a balloon, he got pop'ed.

He had a heat player land on his back during game 2, there is speculation that he was resting as a precautionary measure after the recent minor (cyst removal) back surgery.

Diaw is perfect for small ball, a stretch 4 with 3-point range. It must be injury-related.

You want Diaw guarding LeBron? Leonard and Green are doing a good enough job that Pop doesn't need to try a hybrid lineup.
Still, I'd rather Diaw be the 3rd big than Bonner.

why would Diaw be guarding Lebron? No one said anything about that. Diaw at 4 means Leonard can still be at the 3 like he always is.

I'd much rather have Boris the blade playing over Matt freaking Bonner. Hope he returns soon.

If so, then why wasn't Bayne on the game roster?

Was held out for matchup reasons, although he probably could have made an appearance with about nine minutes to go.
