He actually seemed smug to me, as if he's thinking "I'm more or less OK but Pop and I want to take advantage of the nebulous nature of my 'injury' so I can potentially surprise the Heat on Thursday."

Guess I'll find out tomorrow if this is even a plausible hypothesis, but I don't know he didn't seem disappointed or depressed.
