He brought some of his usual takes, nothing surprising really. He did debate with Stephen A. over the chances of the Spurs winning against the Heat if Parker is unable to go. Stephen said that there is a 0% chance if Parker is unable to go. In fact, he said that we'd be better off forfeiting Game 4 if Parker absolutely needed the rest. Sean was confident that we could win two more with Manu running the point and Joseph spelling him. He said that CoJo is the poster child for the NBA's D-League.

:lol You could tell Stephen A was annoyed by someone else who knew what they were talking about. Basketball.

I watched it. He was very good; dude's been there before and he knows how to act like it (by "been there before" I mean commentating on the Spurs being very close to winning a title). :tu

:lol Ya, that was my favorite aspect of it. SAS looks so ridiculous when there's someone next to him who both knows his stuff and isn't a clown.

:lol he was pissed because Sean ******* dropped a dime of knowledge and didn't follow BSPN's narrative tbh...

:lol You could tell Sean was getting digs at him in a classy way, imo. I loved it. Very subtle, but good.

Yeah. He talked about Kawhi and how he didn't know what to think about Kawhi when he first entered the league. He's grown a lot. He did say that the Spurs would still beat the Heat without TP, because they adapt so well, and another guy will come in and do their job(paraphrasing.) Stephen A. Smith hated that. The chants of the spurs fans at the Hard Rock are annoying and ruining the show tbh.

The show is fine as long as you take for what it really is...entertainment. If anyone watches that show to be informed, then they're in trouble.

I liked how Sean pretty much indicated that he never watches First Take. And I also liked his answer to Smith asking what happened to LeBron. "WE happened." iirc

Skip Bayless mentioned how he follows all the Spurs games and gave props to Sean for his great commentaries. Also, Sean mock punched Screaming A. Smith on the face at the end of his set.

Sean during a Portland game earlier this year said "Danny Green/Kawhi Leonard will be one of the best defensive 2-3 duos in the league over the next few years".

Seanstrodamus tbh.

Thanks.

Duncan's bizarro-world celebrity divorce makes me laugh, seems like an onion article.

Typical irrational homer take from Sean tbh, thinking Turnobili can be the main ball handler and everything will be ok...

Well maybe I did, my mistake, bc he sucks. lol Elliotts response of "We happened" was awesome. Stephen A doesn't even understand that comment, at all, tbh :lol

He did mention Joseph, and I think after seeing how well the spurs' offense ran when Joseph was on the floor in game 3 we'd be seeing 30+ minutes of Cory and maybe even some Patty Mills filler minutes if Parker is unavailable.

Wait, so you're telling me that Sean is kind of a Spurs homer? Seriously?

I think we can pull off two more wins even without TP... think about it.... our defense is stilll intact... Now if we lost Leonard, THEN I would say we are done! Anyways, TP will play so it doesn't matter.
