I am going to keep making these threads all through these Finals. You see Laker fans making Kobe threads...Heat fans making LeBron threads...ect...but as Spurs fans we suck shouting how great Duncan is. Well I am...and GTFO if you dont like it...because I'm gonna keep doing it. Here is a great stat to go along with Timmy about to be 5-0 in the Finals. Duncan is top 5 of all time and anyone who says otherwise is uneducated about the NBA.
As it stands, Duncan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are the only two players (http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/psl_finder.cgi?request=1&match=combined&type=totals&per_minute_base=36&lg_id=NBA&is_playoffs=N&year_min=&year_max=&franch_id=&season_start=1&season_end=-1&age_min=0&age_max=99&height_min=0&height_max=99&birth_country_is=Y&birth_country=&is_active=&is_hof=&is_as=&as_comp=gt&as_val=&pos_is_g=Y&pos_is_gf=Y&pos_is_f=Y&pos_is_fg=Y&pos_is_fc=Y&pos_is_c=Y&pos_is_cf=Y&qual=&c1stat=pts&c1comp=gt&c1val=23000&c2stat=trb&c2comp=gt&c2val=13000&c3stat=ast&c3comp=gt&c3val=3500&c4stat=blk&c4comp=gt&c4val=2500&c5stat=&c5comp=gt&c6mult=1.0&c6stat=&order_by=ws) in NBA history to total at least 23,000 points, 13,000 rebounds, 3,500 assists and 2,500 blocks for their careers. Per Marc Spears (http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba--tim-duncan-lifts-spurs-to-brink-of-nba-finals-071554836.html), Duncan is now second in career playoff double-doubles (144) and sixth on the all-time playoff scoring list. He's also the only player to register 500 total blocks (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1648046-tim-duncan-becomes-first-player-in-nba-history-to-record-500-playoff-blocks) in the postseason.
