For whatever reason, the Spurs didn't establish Tim in the post early on. This was inexcusable. How he didn't get one freakin post touch during his first stint was mind boggling. We HAVE to punish them down low from the beginning.

The other adjustment...for the love of all that is holy, can we stop trying to just run p & r with Manu when he's struggling badly??? He needs to get some plays off the ball. Set plays like the ones we run for Danny Green or Gary Neal...just get him a freakin open shot. He keeps shooting those damn contested threes and we're not making any attempt to help him find his game. Just two or so plays a half to try to get him some open shots.

Have you really watched the game? LOL They treated Duncan as he was in his prime. Fronting him and being physical. They blitz him with a double team with just hands up. A good indication of a good D, that caused TD to turn it over a few times.

I watched the game...the Spurs made no attempt to do anything inside in the post early on. It was all Parker attacking (which is good) and kicking for threes. Yes he was being fronted, but they did NOT even try to do anything through Duncan early on.
