Defensively, What kind of adjustment does pop need to make to contain at least one of the heat's big 3? Wade and Lebron regained their confidence in shooting the ball, Bosh is hitting his shots. Personally, I would stick with the plan till the first quarter of game 5 at least then if they're still making it, pressure the ball.

- Go back to letting their shooter beat you instead of wade and lebron
- More Green
- More Leonard
- Parker Needs to play more than 35 despite injury..It's the finals..Give it all.
- Less Splitter and more Diaw or leonard at the 4 for more swithces
- Manu Needs to know that a player can score more ways than just bricking 3 pointers. He hit a mid range jumper in garbage time hope he realizes he can make those instead of bricking shoots.
- Duncan needs to aggressively fight for position in the post instead of waiting to give the pick.

Turnovers

- Establish Duncan in the paint at any cost, and let him get in a rhythm early..whether it's in the post, baseline pass on the seal, or lower pick&roll, Spurs need to establish him..by going small, they'll continue fronting, and the Spurs need to adjust against the front..

- Same strategy against Wade..make him beat you with jump shots once again..

- Similar strategy against Lebron, but maybe give him a little less room on the perimeter..

- More Diaw, less Splitter..

- Stop turning the ball over..easier said than done, but the bigs were turning it over on the pick&roll catch, Green turned it over a few times after they ran him off, and Manu was Manu..

- Run Manu off some screens and get him some open jump-shots. Maybe this could get his confidence back up. Maybe.

Burn the tape of Game 4, and do what you did for Game 3.

Turnovers and rebounds. The Spurs just weren't really locked in tonight. Also, shorten Ginobii's leash. He needs to be relegated to Neal's previous status (no guaranteed spot). Tell Splitter to go hard and not let guards intimidate him.

Activate Patty Mills for morale boosting/towel waving

Give Splitter a pair of balls and tell Manu to stop fucking us. Honestly, I know Pop won't do it, but starting Baynes in the pick and roll would probably really fuck over Miami.

What do you suggest to fix the rebounding issue?

I really don't think Ginobili was as bad as his stat suggest. Duncan and Splitter were recipients of really good passes from ginobili but they never converted.

burn the tape? pop will play that game in the practice facility 24/7 until the next game as a reminder.

True. It's sad that it would be needed to bring intensity for the next game. This is the freaking Finals, they shouldn't need a reminder..

I think you go back to game 1 d plan.

Offense? Just move the ball better. Plus team looked a step slow. Two days off will cure things IMO.

i doubt it's gonna work anymore. kudos if it does though. wade and lebron have totally changed their mindsets. instead of "thinking", they're just "doing". complete shift in perspective.

Splitter needs to step up, Leonard needs to hit his average, and everyone else just needs to box out their men. Really, the biggest problems were lack of energy and focus. At the end of the first half, the Spurs finally got locked in and showed that they can still beat Miami at their best. They just couldn't keep it up. Parker, Neal and Green need to play better, Leonard needs to get back to rebounding, and Ginobili needs to stop making poor decisions on both ends.

We have to shut down Wade and LeBron like we have in the previous games. We do that, and the game at the very least goes down to the wire.

And PRAY that Manu SHOWS UP and Tiago grows a pair and bullies the cHeat!

Play the regular rotation/no Neal/no Bonner/no small ball/no doubles

Lebron will probably kill the Spurs now, but Wade has shown no consistency in months..there's a strong chance that he won't string together dominant performances, although it's certainly possible..

Neal hurts the defense and offense 99,99% of the games.

Fluke games like game 3 won't happen again

he and green were still making their shots and he can be hidden on defense by placing him on allen or miller.

Unacceptable that SA lost the rebounding battle playing against the "small" Heat most of the time. They have to fix it.

And they need to take care of the ball way better. Miami is trapping SAS ball-handlers all the time and they're getting too many easy buckets.

If their design is to stay on shooters, it's not as bad as you think it is. Plus, Manu hasnt showed up in 4 games now, someone needs to score of the bench.

- play with a sense of energy from tip off
- respect wades and lebrons jumpshot a little bit more
- take care of the ball
- hope tp's injury heal in 3 days

Manu needs 25-30 shots to break out of his slump. Maybe he can make 3 of those 30.
