Book it. With Heat going small and fronting the post it makes sense.. Starting Diaw will allow hi-lo action to counter fronting Timmy..and it could help matching defensively...Play Splitter with Manu and hopefully it will get him going..

Thoughts?

I don't understand why, after playing extremely well in the first half, he was nowhere to be found the rest of the game.

wtf Pop

Diaw will come up huge and mark my words,"Neal is not finished assaulting miami".

Tiago's offseason price tag is dropping by the minute

I'm still trying to decide if that is good or bad for us

btw, the heat found an answer to the manu-splitter pick and roll. I refuse to believe that it's simply a matter of Splitter sucking. It seems that they are collapsing on splitter before the pass goes to him. Therefore, there must be a way to make them pay, and Pop has to find it.

Yeah, I'm not sure why Pop is reluctant to play Diaw in this series. The only thing that would make sense to me is if he was injured in some way. But even then, if he was hurt its obviously nothing serious, otherwise he wouldn't have played at all.

Just play him Pop, we need our high iq people out there. Tiago is just...ugh, very frustrating right now.

What happened to Splitters up and under move?

I'm all for it. Tiago isn't for this series. His stock isn't dropping imo. He is damn good against the bigger teams like the lakers and Memphis. Tiago will get paid either by the Spurs or another team. He's still a solid bigman. Having said that, he is playing soft in this series.

11 mins

3 RB

50% FG%

1 3G

9 pts

but 2 TO vs 1 AST

still a positive contribution.

the game pretty much ended when diaw goes to the bench on the end of the 3 or 4 quarter, and the run that tied the game in the second was with diaw too, he make a 3 and a layup.

I wonder who gets a bigger offseason contract Splitter or Neal?

It's amazing how bad Tiago looked in 14 minutes of play. The way he and Manu have played, and if the Spurs lose in the finals I believe Spurs fans would understand the need to move on from both players and in particular Manu. We had to move on from Gervin so this could be the straw that has the Spurs move on from Manu.

I will start duncan on bosh, diaw on lebron, kawhi on dwade, green on miller and parkers on chalmers...

I think that lineup will give the heat problems. Diaw will concede the same jumpers kawhi is giving lebron but the difference is that it isnt easy to post up diaw so i might say it could work and in worst case let lebron have his but stop anyone else

also kawhi on dwade to prevent him from getting into a rhythm

I think Manu starting would be a better choice and kick out Splitter. The Spurs need Manu to get some sort of rhythm early.

I think Pop surprises everyone Sunday and starts Nando DeColo
