Timmy and Kawhi are hurting, especially Timmy.

There's only reason for Kawhi not matching Lebron's minutes, his tendinitis. That condition has to be what's limiting his minutes, otherwise I just don't understand not playing him more. NOBODY else on the Spurs can guard Lebron. We also need Kawhi on the boards. He's arguably been our best player this series, and he needs to play more. Timmy needs to play more minutes as well. This is the fucking finals and we're 2-3 games away from elimination or glory. The Spurs don't have the luxury of being able to rest starters for prolonged stretches in this series.

As for the playcalling, throughout the first half Tony was completely ignoring him in the post, and it seemed as though the Spurs were content to use Timmy's post ups as a decoy. What's worse is that the Spurs are predominantly running the high pick and roll all game against arguably the best pick and roll defense in the league. I don't get it. Every time Tony comes off of a screen he is too scared to make a pass, so he just ends dribbling around for 20 seconds then jacking up a shot. Again, the only way that this playcalling makes sense is if Timmy is hurting so badly that he isn't even comfortably posting up.

My adjustments:
- Kawhi needs to play 40+ minutes. Timmy needs to play 36+
- More post plays for Timmy, and figure out spacing during front attempts so that you can either run high low or kick it out for an OPEN shot.
- Tony missed countless open players last night. Being injured is no excuse for poor court vision. Tony needs to look to get our guys going, especially Timmy.
- When Manu is in, the Spurs should iso him and/or run him off of screens (our triple screen play along the baseline comes to mind).
- Limit high pnr plays to occasional use/end of shot clock situations
- When running the high pnr our guards need to remember the BOUNCE PASS. They keep trying jump passes or floating passes. That won't get it done.
- Defensively, the Spurs need to attack the boards with more hunger and do a better job with off-ball screens. All it took was one simple off-ball screen and a Heat player was open almost every time last night. That is inexcusable.
- Keep playing Wade the same way and if he continues his Jordan impersonation, then you tip your hat.
- Decrease the cushion on Lebron by about a couple of feet. They're giving him ludicrous amounts of space, and he's figured it out.

Having Diaw out there to make entry passes from the 3 point line some would would help..most of the Spurs perimeter were too short and/or gave up too easy trying to get the ball into him in the post over the Heat's perimeter defenders..
