Well my fellow Spur Fan afficionados, it has come down to this, both teams knotted up at two games a piece.The Spurs improbable but amazing run has come to a crossroads, with a pivotal and for all intents and purposes, deciding game 5 looming, it’s not an elimination game for the Spurs but it might as well be if they don’t secure a victory.
It is tough to get to the NBA Finals. The Spurs have gone through a rollercoaster ride since the injury to parker towards the end of the Season.They weathered a lackluster end of season but regained their form just in time for the first Round.They easily handled the Lakers. They had a tougher outing with the up and coming Warriors but managed to vanquish them. Most people wrote them off against Memphis but they rose to the occasion and even swept them despite the enormous girth of Randolph and DPOY Gasol.
Yet again the naysayers predicted the Heat would run roughshod over them, yet here they are 2 and 2. This is most likely the end of an era with the big three togetherI guess what
I'm trying to convey is the Spurs have been written off since 2007 but here they are after all the adversity within two victories of another title.
Please don't write them off yet, Believe in them, they deserve that much after all the joyous moments they have given us this year.
Can they summon the will, the fortitude and the heart to win game 5 and give them a very honest shot at one more title together? No one knows for sure but we will definitely will find out Sunday, heres hoping "Que no pare la fiesta"
