But seriously, if this is real which I doubt. Has he even played for them? What are the requirements for your own statue to be erected?

At the least I would think he would have to have done something positive for your team/country.

He's some sort of a cultural icon there, he's visited china multiple times and has a huge following. Outside the US people regard him as the GOAT or 2nd GOAT behind MJ :lol

Is it any wonder? While i was in high school I saw the majority of bitches in our school being just obsessed with Kobe as I am with Scarlett currently. Guys were mostly Rockets fans back then for obvious reasons, but the majority of our bitches would rather lick kobe's dick for free (maybe Yao was just not sexy enough to appeal to those bitches im not sure), and there was only one bitch in my class who was a mav fan :cry

He's the biggest Sports Icon in SE asia. Asian fans in those countries are still nostalgic with everything Jordan. Kobe's the closest to him.
