Does anyone here know how to remove an Ingrown toe nail the painless way?

I really don't want to go to the Doctor.

Going to the doc is the painless way; you only get the lidocaine at the doctor's office. At home you just get a pillow to bite. :)

Ive removed a few ingrown toe nails in my day, no doctor's visit's necessary. Dig in with your hands and get prehistoric on it. A few days later if Blood and puss are byproducts then pour some peroxide on that bad boy and got at it again and try cleaning it out, squeeze the puss out and repeat. F a co-pay! LOL :lol

Take a pair of clippers, cut an angle towards the direction of the ingrown toenail, apply ice.. Grab a pair of tweezers, grab the part that you cut. Count to 3 and rip that mother fucker right out of there.

Scream. Stop the bleeding. Put a bandaid... and heal......

Thanks to everyone for their advice.

I actually just got back from my Mom's house. My mom took out the Ingrown toenail...

I first took 2 Tylenol. I soaked my foot In warm water. After 20 minutes my Mom brought In 2 towels, I figured It was for me to dry my foot...Little did I know that one of the towels was for me to bite on. :cry

Ingrown toenail finally came out :spin but not before I screamed, cried, and said a couple of bad words (sorry Mom) I then went In to the guest room took a well deserved nap.

Bad idea. It is gonna get infected. My dad is a doctor. He does the procedure all the time. It hurts like a bitch but at least its gone for a while. You take a scapal under the nail and then cut outwords. Not a good feel. More than likely, IT WILL COME BACK. Good luck!

I had the Ingrown toenail taken out on Friday and today Is Sunday and the pain Is gone...

SBC, I used to suffer from those on BOTH toes until I went to a doc in a box and had them cut out.

That was about 15 years ago and I haven't had one since.
