As a fan of the San Antonio Spurs since I was a kid, I'm not losing sleep over this. People are forgetting that we're playing with house money. Start of the season, if you tell me that we'll be 21 secs away from a 5th championship, I'll tell you flat out that you're crazy. This season was about the 100m+ payroll lakers (LOL :lol), the OKC Thunder by Westbrick and forever #2 Durant (LOL :lol), and the Memphis Pandas with DPOY Gasol (LOL :lol). The Miami Heat are the defending champions and did what they're supposed to do.
Like what Pop said, it's the Finals, it's not supposed to be easy.
Game 7 is going to be interesting for my spurs. No road team has won an NBA championship since the 1600's. Spurs had a legitimate chance to win this one but they gave it away.
Still, it's been an amazing ride and I'm thrilled for Game 7 more than anybody else.
Let's go for it again. Let's savor every moment of this run as this might be the last time we'll see one of the greatest of all time compete for a championship. I will cheer for them till the final buzzer of the season sounds.
