I place equal weight on the success of all my favorite teams (Spurs, Dodgers, Raiders).

But the sweetest championship in my lifetime was the '88 World Series, defined by the greatest walk off homer in World Series history.

Still angry about the Expos moving and the '81 NLCS, I take it?

Blue Monday.

They were a cool franchise with a unique identity. Should've never moved.

And yeah, Blue Monday was a soul crusher.

Raiders? I thought you were better than that Mid.

I would gladly take a World Series title. Too long of a season where anything can happen.

Yeah. Southern California born and raised.

Rooted for the Raiders when they were in LA. Never got into the Rams. And :lol Chargers (sorry Clip Nation).

I have some Mexican descent in me, but if I was 100%, I'd naturally root the Lakers, as well.

I become a fan of the Spurs through sports card collecting. Like any young kid, I loved sports cards and David Robinson was the hot NBA rookie at the time. Bought up his cards and naturally became a fan of the Spurs.

Could've been a Laker fan by virtue of location, but I never got into them.

I'm not a big fan of baseball. Though I live in Socal I became a Diamondbacks bandwagon fan back when they acquired Randy Johnson (my favorite baseball player of all time) and Schilling, and they went on to win as we all know. Sorta like the short lived MLB version of the Miami heat :lol

If the Dbacks made the playoffs, I might tune into the games after the 7th inning if its close. No chance in hell I watch a full game on TV, even if it was game 7 of the world series. I only like going to Dodger games because they have 25 dollar tickets in right field with all-you-can-eat unlimited dodger dogs/nachos/sodas until the 7th inning stretch.

That said, I value my Raiders and Spurs equally. Love the silver & black.

NBA title. I haven't followed baseball for years. The Braves drove me right out of the sport with their constant postseason failures. Over a dozen straight division titles, and only 1 ring...

Man, without the Lakers, you'd really be a starcrossed, tortured fan.

The only thing worse than losing a title is breaking up the team that won it the very next year. And the Marlins' owner did that shit twice. Doing that, you forever torture the fanbase with "what if?" And I'm sure every Miggy homer must feel like a hot shiv inserted into your spine.

If the question is my city then it's easily the World Series. Not a fan of the Knicks or the Nets tbh. I would be ecstatic to witness a Mets World Series victory. Then again, if the question is in general, then I take a Mavericks Championship or a Mets World Series anyday. A Cowboys Superbowl win would be my number 1 ecstasy tho.

I want to see the Cubs beat the Yankees in the World Series in a 4 game sweep with games 3 and 4 at Wrigley Field. That would be awesome. Chicago would be shut down for at least 2 weeks.

Just imagine how chaotic Chicago would be the second the Cubs won the World Series. No work would be done for at least a week. Just think of the number of people that would call in sick the next day at their jobs. Just think of how packed the bars would be in Chicago. Crazy.

Uncanny how these runs kind of resemble each other. The 49ers pursuing a 6th ring after a drought, going up against the NFL's darling (Ray Lewis is something of an analogue to Lebron here), lose in heartbreaking fashion after that furious comeback. Wasn't Scott Norwood bad, 18-1 bad, or even game 6 bad, but the 9ers were 5 yards and a catch away from sending Ray Lewis out a loser.

Unfortunately for them, those 5 yards needed to be accrued through the air, where a certain breed of QB would've come in handy
