Pretty sure Kobe's picking what he wants to happen. He doesn't like the idea of LeBron nearing his echelon. Duncan's already in that echelon (if not past it) and plays a completely different position (yes, I realize Kobe and LeBron technically play different positions too).

It's pretty sad that a player in the league has actually caused me to hate him more than Kobe Bryant. Who? LeBron.

I think this is more Bryant and Duncan being maybe not friends, but admirers of each others' games after all the battles against each other. And of course Bryant hates James.

Put it this way, if the Heat hadn't done that pus*y shit of joining forces to buy a ring, then the Spurs would be the 2013 NBA champions by default. OKC might have been the 2012 NBA champions or maybe in even the Spurs because the cHeaters (Lebron) would not have gone to the NBA finals therefore $tern and the ref$ would not have screwed us on Game 6 @ OKC last year. All of the above is the reason why I hate the cHeat and Lebron with a passion. I used to admire Lebron when he was in Cleveland but once he pulled "his decision" and decided to become a fag*ot flopper, that is when I started to hate him. I can't stand the hype that Lebron gets from the media. ESPN made me become a Kobe and Lebron hater, just like my boy Bruce Blitz.

Dammit-can't sleep again anticipating the game tomorrow. I'm nervous yet excited for Game 7 and the possibilities of a Spurs win erasing the last 24 hours of hell.
I just hope they leave everything they have out there. That's all we can ask for.

bad omen?

I understand this guy has an agenda with James, but this is also the guy that bought into Mike Brown and Mike D'Antoni, tbh... I trust Kobe to drop 80 pts on Toronto in February, but for basketball acumen I would look somewhere else, IMO.

LeBron sitting on the court floor bitching at the refs was so classless.

Fuck him and his store bought team.

Bryant just respecting Spurs but subtly hating James as baseline mentioned above. His cult is the same way, they hate Lebron because they fear he'll overshadow Kobe. I guess it's because both Kobe and Lebron are suppose to be the heirs of MJ or something like that.

Duncan has obviously been the better player and leader, but because he is a big, he won't ever get that MJ love/appeal.

I hated Lebron when people were calling him "King James" AFTER he was SWEPT by us in the Finals. the hype machine rolled on through reality completely oblivious to his shortcomings.

This has to do with Kobe having respect for Pop. It goes back to when Kobe was going to trial. Pop made some comments, of support I believe, and Kobe was very appreciative.

Lebon is no where near kobe and he won't be until he does it by himself not on a bought dream team. lebron is a heartless faggot who served the championship to us on a silver platter before we gave it right back.

I don't hate LeBron or like him. He's rather blah, which is peculiar for a guy that can get 3 feet over the rim on dunks. I think it's his robotic nature, hard to identify with because of the appearance of not being human.

I think 80-90% of NBA non-casual fans are pulling for the Spurs. They don't really love LeBron's game since he has a weak jumper and is a bully on the court.

There is nothing to hate about that guy, except flopping :lol

It is not his fault being called the king.
He's hyped because he has endorsement deals.

LeBron's case is like Duncan's, you kept on winning the more they hate you.

This. Kobe knows that James has a shot at one day surpassing a lot of his marks. He's hoping for an outcome that tarnishes the competitions legacy. Nothing more to read into it tbh.

I agree! Fucking Lebroom! I hate all of the hype on Lebroom! He's overrated in my book, sure he can shoot some shots but the majority of the time he barrels into his opponent and given a pass! Never learned the fundamentals of basketball as he travels, double dribbles & charges into his opponents while the refs swallow their whistles! Most protected overrated player ever! Sick of his crappy commercials slammed down our throats every time!

Rofl. Timmy and Lebron couldn't be more different, success aside.

(And Lebron's twitter handle is "KingJames." And he's got "CHOSEN1" tattooed on his back. I doubt either were against his will.)
