View Full Version : How would you celebrate a Game 7 win (or mourn a defeat?)

If the Spurs win, I will probably go on a news-article binge for days, reading all of those news articles and savoring the Spurs' stunning victory and the Heat's epic defeat. I would also enjoy reading the comments of angry/disappointed Heat fans.
If the Spurs lose, I will probably avoid sports media for a week, and be numb for a long time, and try to ignore it.
Rioting either way

I stopped drinking last Friday which has been the absolute worse during this Finals roller coaster. So lots of red bull and cocaine, probably either win or lose.

Alcohol for me either way. Then I will go fishing in Thailand.

2 cases of local beer with my buddies. That's win or lose. If Miami wins, it's one me. If I win, it's on them. Hoping for the latter.

I'm fully expecting a loss and my depression has already begun. I will be down for months. Drinking will take place.

I get the impression that Game 7s are good for the alcoholic-beverage industry...................

We win I'll go nuts, party, and rewatch Sports Center, read online stuff, etc. Then I'll go to the parade and await the DVD release while I start working on all the things I've neglected during this run. Lose and I'll just avoid media altogether until the draft (prolly even ST for a while) and immediately start working on things neglected (career, health, etc). I want the victory feeling that started flooding me the other night back though so please basketball gods let the Spurs win this!

Spurs win- I pick up TwoHandJam and give him a bear hug while mocking Stern and LeBron before heading out for a victory cigar and a drunken re-watch of the game/playoff videos till about 3 am (I have booked tomorrow off work)
Spurs lose- irrelevant, not going to happen.

I was depressed as soon as Allen hit that 3. I knew already the Spurs almost certainly wouldn't win in OT.
