lol, he can't cost us a title no matter how bad he plays.
we wouldn't even be in this position if it wasn't for green, so the title would have been out of our reach long ago

He has been exposed tho
Hes a dead eye from 3
But once u run him off the line hes options are:
A. Run and jump towaqrd the rim and yell
B. To bounce the ball off his foot/Infamous behind the back dribble turnover
C. Or pick up his dribble and piss his pants

Green was great Games 1-5. He was hitting that floater in those games when run off the line.

The team just ran out of gas. That's all.

not his fault. parker never put him in a position to succeed because he was too easily shutdown by lebron.

regression to the mean, it saved us in the GSW series, it killed us down the stretch in the finals. Step and Klay couldn't stay that hot or we were toast. Obviously Danny can thrive when open but he isn't good enough to be the focal point of an offense. He is Shane Battier only younger.

He puttered out. No gas in the tank the final 2 games. He was 1-20 something in the final 2 games. It is truly awful.

when he can't do the only think he is good at, he is pretty much useless.

Parker has no explosion with a bad hamstring and Green was sick. Then again, Wade and Haslem aren't making excuses.

No offense, OP, but you should really make fewer threads. No one wants to see the top page spammed with every thought that comes into your mind. Just post your comments in related threads and leave it at that.

Green is the ultimate streak shooter. He just has very long streaks.

its okay. i didnt expect him to save us. he did what he could the first 5 games. what more can you ask for from a role player.

It's called role players... give credit to Miami... after Game 5 they had a guy on him every time... He actually gave us a chance in this series. He has work to do, but loved what he did for us in this series.

He wilted under the pressure, but young guys tend to do that. Notice how rarely young teams win championships. Hopefully he'll be better next year. (Unfortunately, we needed him this year)

Not his fault. Spo took away his strength. He is a ONE dimensional offensive player.

I never expected him to continue hitting threes. I would just like him to stop sabotaging possessions when he's not hitting.

He definitely forced the issue tonight, but he had a hell of a series. We had it in the palm of our hands last game. Great season though. But his game is based on the creation of others on the offensive end, so you can't be mad at him for not getting open looks. Miami just gained a shit load of confidence after that bullshit game 6 win.

Not Green's fault, when the Heat finally stuck someone on him, it was up to someone on the big 3 to take advantage. They just didn't have anything left in the tank.

if parker kept his mouth shut on why green is still getting open looks to the media after game 5 the heat would not have noticed and shifted their defense....

Come on. Can't blame Parker for that. The heat would have noticed anyway.

He's a god damn role player, what more can you expect from him? And as the saying goes, you live by the 3, you die by the 3....

Spurs have too many one trick ponies on offense. Green, Neal, Splitter. Green doesn't have much of an offensive game outside of shooting open 3's. Spurs need guys who can create with the ball in their hands. Kawhi is looking promising in that aspect.

he went into OKC mode the last two games but you cant really fault him -

Last year he did choke but this year he competed on both ends.

Just saw Danny's post-game interview in the locker room. He was very emotional guys. He was almost on the verge of tears when talking about his performance tonight. He said something like "I let everybody down, I let down Manu. I let down Tony, and Tim."

I feel sorry for him. Miami's D was swarming tonight. Danny couldn't get open. The one time he did, he nailed his 3.

And shame on you guys for blaming him like this. He GOT US HERE FOR GOD'S SAKE! Think of all the other role players like himself he beat out to get here. He still played great this series too. I hope he goes straight on vacation from Miami because he doesn't deserve all the hatred and blame he's going to get back here.
