Absolutely heartbreaking. Definitely.

But we had a hell of a series. A legendary one.
It ended on a terrible note for us as fans.

Strangely, I'm not really looking forward to the next season. I know it can't really be as great as this one.

Don't hurt yourself timvp...

I'm at peace with the Spurs. They played a hell of series and won 2 more games than I thought they would. They kept bouncing back after blowout losses and they kept the game close until the very end. They didn't roll over and die, they went down swinging and that's all we can ask of them at this point.

It happens. The Spurs fought hard and the younger players will be stronger for it. However, this probably spells the end of the Spurs' championship era for the near future.

Someone had to lose, and this time it was the Spurs. They've now experienced five of the eight possible Finals outcomes. That's pretty interesting.

Spurs fucked up, plain and simple. They choked in Game 6 and they choked in Game 7. They gave all they got and left nothing for the end of games, Tony Parker, the supposed "MVP" during the whole run to the Finals wasn't even good enough to be on the floor during crunch time in both games, that was a pathetic display of basketball by the San Antonio Spurs. From turning the ball over to taking the stupidest shots imaginable. I respect the Heat and I think Lebron cemented his legacy with the way he played but the Spurs had the chance and fucked it up big time. I don't know how to bounce back from this.

Getting to the Finals, and having a chance to win, would probably be considered over-achieving by most.

Hell of a fucking season.

Never figured Spurs would be in that situation.

Kawhi is a fucking man and the future of this team.

Timmy proving again how much of a man he is, just ran out of gas; injuries finally seemed to catch up to Parker.

Spurs need to find a big man and stat. Fuck it, go get Cousins. Fuck Splitter's fucking soft ass.

Hopefully Manu retires like he should, fucking epic meltdown in the fourth after an epic meltdown in Game 6 after a glimmer of hope in Game 5. Fuck.

Can't really blame anyone, the better team won, simple as that.

Fuck Lebron and fuck Miami but the better team won. You have to fucking make shots. Spurs didnt. Heat did.

This is most likely the last time the original Big 3 will be in the finals. 10 seconds away from a title in gm 6. Cruel way to end the season. However, I am with timvp. Thank you for a great ride during the playoffs. I think we all can say unexpected and exciting ride. I know TD is beating himself up for the little jumper he missed, but they had a legitimate chance to win Game 7 on the road and just could not execute the last 90 seconds. My only question is how bad was Parker hurting, as he was the difference tonight. Anyways, great season.

Also, Leonard stepped up big time, which was nice to see. I'm starting to believe he really can be a special player.

Green now has a definite goal to work toward. If he can get a better game from two, he'll be that much better of a player.

Besides them, however, the Spurs' future is murky. I don't know what I'd do with Splitter and Neal. I guess re-signing them is the best thing to do to keep championship hopes alive. But I might let them to and start looking toward using cap space to collect assets. This could actually be a pretty interesting off-season.

I'm not even mad. I'm going to avoid ESPN like the plague for a while, but I actually feel satisfied with the series.

Props to Spurs for an amazing season and congrats to the Heat for this title.

What makes basketball a so great sport to watch are these crazy moments like in game 6. It truly sucks when you are a fan of the team that is on the bad end of these but you had to deal with it because you, of course, can't always be on the good side. Spurs had these magic moment like in 2005 with the game 5 but this year, they didn't get that luck.

After TD missed that hook shot and rimmed out, I started to feel the LOB trophy slipping. Heartbreaking to watch Duncan see his 5th ring slipping away. I wanted him to go out as a champ. Fuck Manu and Pop. Manu please retire. We can use your salary to sign a couple of big free agents. I'm so pissed off and sad for TD. Manu and Pop just made look LBJ have a Jordanisque performance and DisneyESPN will be hyping him all year long and the Lebrontrads claiming him better than MJ. Thanks for the three rings Manu. Thanks for their effort. They actually played above their abilities and hence no complaint and just compliment. Nevertheless, I don't want the cap space wasted on Manu as SPURS desparately need another go-to player. Manu did not owe SPURS for his past contributions and SPURS did not owe him neither. SPURS have to move on and try to find another go-to player to win another title for TD. SPURS needs to move on and so does Manu. SPURS also need to find another good assistance coach to wake Pop up.

Tough loss. I can live with a game that went down to wire and not a blow out. We had our opportunities with last few possessions in the last five mi items to tie it up and take the lead. Ugh. Time for off season and see where the chips fall after that.

Great season, tough loss. We could not match their firepower at the end, they hit clutch shots. Amazing how close we were despite that. Great effort all around.

Hell of a season, Spurs. Hell of a season.

Thank you.

And thank you to Spurs fans.

I'm sorry.

Don't be sorry. Noting to apologize for. Thank you is appropriate. And we will always be with you, mes Spurs.

Manu got old and Tony got injured. I'm certain that the TP from the prior series and the first game of the finals would have been enough to win this. Manu was nothing more than a complementary player most of the season.

I'm so sorry that they come up just short - they would have been legitimate, worthy NBA champs.

It was a great season but this loss is going to sting for a long time. I'm very glad to have gone and seen an NBA Finals game in person.
