Manu needs to "retire" and then come back after the all star break. That way the Spurs can move on without him. As long as he's on the team, the younger players will always defer to him out of respect. Once the Spurs get into a new offense without Ginobili, then he can come back and play some spot minutes facilitating the offense.

He can come back but his role needs to be downgraded and Leonard needs the chance to flourish..

He needs to retire. Great run, but it's over.

Fuck you asshole! Without his 18 points tonight , this loss would be worse!

Truth... but his turnovers, again, killed us. Neutered us.

Maybe he can play in the FIBA world championships again this summer and burn his engine because he cares more about international ball than the Spurs.

Without his shit in Game 6, the series would be over in our favor.

For what he's being paid, we could easily find someone who would have put up +20 without the turnovers.

The Spurs don't have much trust in Leonard....it cost them. He could have blown this game wide open if Tony Passed to him at times. Dude knows how to cut to the basket. And like someone else said, we wouldn't be here if it weren't for him

He had 4. Manu has always been a high-turnover player. I can pull up a lot of past games which people called "great" performances in which he turned the ball over 3+ times, tbh.

Sure he sucked, but he can make his own decision, as long as he admits to his age and adjusts his game. He needs to be like Steve Nash more next year. He can't drive without purpose. He needs to outsmart opponents and know his limitations, and he needs to defer and allow Kawhi to be a bigger option than him. If he does that, I'm all for him returning.

A few were simple passes that just bounced out of bounds, and one was right to LeBron in the waning minute of the game. Not the best time...

Damn if game 7 Manu played in game 6. We would have won.

Well, he was forced to carry the team in the closing minutes at almost 36 years old since Tony Parker decided not to show up in any capacity tonight. The Heat switched that play and they played great D.

Another shot at pop for running a point guard driven system that he has beaten over and over in the playoffs.
