McAfee however is portraying all the shit the media has said about him over the years, and that's what makes it funny.

McAfee has had no connection with the anti-virus for 10 years. It only uses his name now. He has lived in Central America claiming that people were out to kill him. Think of Charlie Sheen living in Costa Rica.

Part of why the video is funny.

I guess for people who don't know the story, and that McAfee did the video himself, not an actor, it does seem lame. Considering he's making fun of himself and past events... Makes it worth watching.

He was suspected of killing someone in Belize. And of possession. And of manufacturing drugs.

Hasn't been charged with any of it, to my knowledge. But he was in bed with his 17-year-old girlfriend when the Belize cops busted him, so there's that.

Oh, I don't actually know for sure. It's one of many things trapped in my head, but not something I ever really followed or cared about.
