SAN ANTONIO -- Spurs guard Manu Ginobili has a big decision to make this summer. He is an unrestricted free agent on July 1st, which means he can sign with any NBA team of his choice. He can also decide to retire, and since Ginobili turns 36 this summer, that option is not completely out of the question.
Ginobili would not discuss his future after the NBA Finalshttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png (http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/#), but today, he posted a column to a sports website in Argentina.
In that column, he wrote this:
"...and it is very hard not to continue playing. Do not think I'm so exhausted and frustrated (with) basketball to say "enough". I do not know at all, (have not made a decision), but I see difficult that (I) will not play anymore."
Ginobili went on to say he has not made a final decision, and will not, until after he sees what happens when free agency starts on July 1st..
