If his career ended today, what would you say?

Seeing how easy it is to make it in, yes he is

Not really

Probably. He's one of the most accomplished point guards since Magic

Yes he's definitely making the hall. Had we won the ship this year, Tony would've won another Finals MVP and been the 2nd most decorated PG in NBA history behind Magic Johnson with 4 championship rings and 2 Finals MVP's.. Think about that for a second.

Isn't he the first european Finals MVP ever?
I think his international spotlight also gets him.

First ballot, guaranteed. Parker is the most underrated point guard of all time, and the reason I became a Spurs fan. He only pads stats when he has to put the team on his back. You holding him out of the hall of fame for that?
And hey, when the big four is Duncan-Smoove-Kawhi-Parker winning the next two rings? Hands down HOFer no doubt.

Well he's won a finals MVP and three NBA titles, so that should probably do it. I did have to stop and think though, so maybe it's a fair question.

All of the Big 3 + Pop are guaranteed to get into the hall. This isn't news.
Has there ever been an NBA Finals MVP who was not in the HOF or enroute to the HOF? Only ones that I can think of that are on the bubble are Billups and DWade.
TP is a HOF. Maybe not first ballot, but he a HOF.
He's not if we are being completely objective (of course, i wanna see him there as a lifelong FAN). He's one of those guys I compare to that were on russell's title teams, aka riding on the coattails to the titles. Same with mchale... he WAS NEVER one of the best players in the league for a good period. got his fame from those celtics title teams.
In the words of Skip Bayless, hall of "very very very good"... not hall of fame. If parker gets in, whats keeping guys like steve francis, mihcael finley, jamal crawford, or any of the scrubs that average 18-22+ ppg for an extended period of time with a couple all-star appearances in there -- from getting in the hof as well?

Cedric Maxwell, Celtics, '81.
But he was more of a role player, sort of like if Danny had had one more good game and gotten a finals MVP.

Scottie Pippen was a HoFer as Jordan's sidekick so judging by the same criteria do I think that TP and Manu deserve to be in the HoF? Sure. Do I wish that getting into the HoF was not as easy as it is? Sure.

I for one also wish that getting into the HoF was not so easy but Parker making it is far from being a shame.
Now the fact you said this ^^^^ to that " If parker gets in, whats keeping guys like steve francis, mihcael finley, jamal crawford, or any of the scrubs that average 18-22+ ppg for an extended period of time with a couple all-star appearances in there -- from getting in the hof as well?" is pretty darn stupid. dude mute is comparing Parker to crawford ? :lmao really ?

Will if we are talking about just a NBA HOF than yes. Parker's NBA resume aint really NBA HOF material.
But since this HOF credits all basketball levels than both Manu and Parker get in.

International resume of Parker is not so dense to be sure to get into it because of fiba achievements.
his nba resume is close to be enough

I know the answer. Actually there are several answers. Consistency. Championships. Winning. Having an all-time great like Tim Duncan by your side sure helps a lot too.

I don't know who's the bigger moran, Skippy or his fool tool fans.
The difference is they were scrubs and TP isn't. You said it yourself.

Prime example of just how underrated TP is. SMH. Like all that hard work and dedication wasn't his. Like he didn't improve every single year. Like he wasn't one of the league's greatest assassins in the playoffs for years. You know how easy Tony Parker made Duncan's pick and roll game when nobody could stop his craftiness and off balance layups? Yeah, you know.
Case closed. First ballot, guaranteed.

This..
For an NBA career he just misses but they seem to reward everything
so yes he will get in..
IMO does he belong there? No. Tony is not a great player..

parker and gino will be one of those players who enter the hall of fame like 4-8 years after they are eligible. they would be first ballot if they played in a large market

With the last 2 seasons yes.
He already had the 3 titles and the finals MVP but the argument against him was that he never have been elite.
Now he have 2 all NBA second team, 5th and 6th in MVP voting and led his team to the WCF and the finals as the go to guy (even though Duncan was better in the finals)
That's why the media has been including him in the HOF group during the whole postseason when they says stuffs like "pop let 2 hofer on the bench" "we have X hofer in the finals" etc...

points : 17th 3305 (Dirk 16 3321)
assists : 15th 923 (14ème Lebron 924)
FGM : 15th
1st european final MVP
off course TD help (Manu and Pop) and he help them
Garnett, Allen, Pierce will be and Parker is way ahead of them
