Inb4 someone points out Kerr or Paxson's jumpers while neglecting the fact that those weren't potential close out games

It was an "MJ" moment.

Lebron also hit a three in the final 28 seconds of game 6 that cut the lead to two.

LeBron is right. That play was symbolic. The Spurs defensive scheme for the entire series was to make LeBron inefficient by forcing him to become a jump shooter, the least potent aspect of his game.

Up 2, LeBron screened right and instead of driving and or dishing he pivoted into a long distance 2. His greatest weakness, now became the greatest reason the Heat won the game.

That's about as close to a "MJ Moment" as it gets.

Lakerfan doesn't think that shot qualifies, but they think it's an MJ Moment when Kobe airballs a fadeaway 27-footer while double teamed.

I can live with anybody saying this, but LeBron himself? Wow!

His Mom should tell him: "Your friends really seem to have a bad influence on you!"

This is one thing that annoys me about lebron. He interjects himself into history. Let others talk about your big moments in the context of history. When you do it, it sounds so self serving, just like his postgame comments about his and pierces game 7 performance being on the level of bird and nique and now bostons fans have something else to talk about.

Great defensive play leading to the greatest shot in Finals history, he hit the shot to win the championship, how many people have done that?

:lolthat's exactly why it's not an MJ moment!!! dude's legacy got all but saved by Ray Allen's shot now he wants to self proclaim his greatness...he might have 1.5 rings but all I can rest on his his receding hairline

:lol Insecure Lebron has to compare himself to MJ.

LBJ thinks he has surpassed Kobe and his only goal now to reach MJ.

It was an "MJ" moment.

Already up by two tbh. No pressure. His layup at the end of Game 1 in the ECF was more an MJ moment than this.

No one thinks more of Lebron than Lebron. Nothing new here.

If you have to mention it was a MJ moment, than no one really remembered it as a symbolic MJ moment in the first place. It was just a nice clutch shot tbh..

Lebron is ugly and has no charisma = no MJ moment

No pressure?

He misses that, and SA runs the clock down and hits a 3 as time expires, then everyone calls him a choker and overrated for missing a chance to seal the game away, despite a monster performance.
