TBH, when reading "CORNERSTONE" I thought about Austin Rivers!

I am sure Michael Jordan would trade for him since he is such a horrid NBA executive.
I agreed with giving Gordon the max deal due to his potential, but would be find trading him for some solid assets.

Davis is the main building block. Demps will unload Gordon if the deal is right.

I was replying to 8for3's post who didn't realize that.
The cornerstone? I thought that was Anthony Davis.

You are correct.
Michael Jordan just sucks at evaluating talent.

Chicago could use him. If they fail to get Aldridge, they should go for him and have an all-injury back court.

dude has the talent but his working ethic has always been questionable imho. He can be a decent #2 option on a good team but may not be the right material to make a cornerstone

They also got Kaman which was an expiring contract and cleared cap space. I wasn't a fan of drafting Rivers at 10, but there weren't many good options left at that point. I wanted either Terrance Jones or to take a chance on Royce White.
