View Full Version : Bulls: Rumor: LMA TO Chicago

Word is, Aldridge wants to escape from Portland's rebuilding project and has made it known that he'd like to land in Chicago.

Deng for Aldridge won't get it done. The Blazers want Joakim Noah in return and the Bulls don't want to give up the superior defensive big man.

Here's one way to get Portland's attention: Offer Deng and Charlotte's future No. 1 pick. The Bulls are counting on that Bobcats' pick (acquired for Thomas, ironically), to pay off big, because it's unprotected in 2016.

I heard Portland has been shopping Aldridge around to various organizations. Think I remember something about an Aldridge-for-Deandre Jordan trade, and could hardly believe it at first. On the surface, Aldridge seems like a player about twice as far in development as Deandre, and maybe twice as valuable too.

But I'm starting to wonder if the Blazers know something about Aldridge, medically speaking, that might cause them to want to unload a guy who was once considered to be a possible franchise cornerstone, or at least a major piece.

These are all rumors fwiw. It happens a lot days before the draft day. I don't think they're shopping him, but if they are, it would be because he wants out.

giving up the league's best defensive big for an injury-prone soft big wouldn't be a good deal to Chicago. they can attach Gibbs to spice up their offer but no way would they lose Noah imho

Noah+Aldridge would do some damage, especially in the East...

PDX would most likely want Noah in a trade. Doubt Chicago does that tbh.

Along with the Bulls, LMA's trade list includes Dallas and the Clippers:

The source also said Aldridge wouldn't mind being dealt to the Dallas Mavericks to play in his hometown with the rising belief Dallas has a shot at Dwight Howard. Or to the Los Angeles Clippers, if a scenario such as that makes sense for the Clippers.

Aldridge has been on the front burner way too long.

It's over.

Along with the Bulls, LMA's trade list includes Dallas and the Clippers:

Does he think Dallas would get him, Dirk AND Howard? Regardless of the financial impossibility of that, there's no way any team would get all three of them. And no way Dallas move Dirk to bring in LA's stat-padding, ugly game. It's Howard OR Aldridge for Dallas.

Dallas doesn't fit...him and Dirk are basically the same player so I can't see how it would work playing them on the same front line(Dirk is better, of course).

If I'm the Blazers it's Noah or nothing. You can't trade a huge key piece for Deng, when you already have Nic Batum, and you definitely can't be consoled with getting Carlos Boozer in any scenario.

If I'm John Paxson ill tell you to go fuck yourself tbh. Noah is the heart and soul of that team.

I think you may have misinterpreted what I said (or vice versa), but I definitely agree that the Bulls are nothing without Noah.
