Let's root for Lance to get the yellow jersey back.

Lance already has the yellow jersey. Tomorrow might be the day he all but officially wins Tour. There is a team trail next week, although, the Discovery team he rides for looks unbeatable in the trials. Watch out for Basso tomorrow as he has stayed close to Armstrong the last few mountain stages.

There are no more team trials.

There is an individual time trial stage on Saturday, however. You probably meant that. It probably won't matter much anyway, because Lance already has enough advantage over the only people who could beat him in that time trial (Ullrich and maaaybe Basso - but both would have to have a great day).
But pretty much everyone is basically predicting Lance to win that time trial.

So, unless Lance has some crisis today, and from what happened yesterday probably other people will fall into crisis not Lance, he should take his seventh tour.

Lance will win this stage because:
- He hasn't still won a mountain stage this year and this stage is the last mountain stage and the most beautifull of this tour de france.
- In memory of Fabio Casartelli. He was a teammate of Lance and died in a fall in the Portet d'Aspet. It is the first climb of this day and he died exactly ten years ago (07/17/1995).

Basso can't beat armstrong in the time trial... of all the GC contenders (who are now challenging for 2nd place) only ulrich had shown he could go par w/ armstrong in time trials.
Basso lost around 1 minute and 20 seconds the last individual time trial and it was only 19 kilometers long! the next one is gonna be 55km :(

Armstrong finished 5 or 6th I think today. Fellow teammate Hincape captures the stage win! Only the 7th American ever to win a stage.

yeah, barring anythin major, lance will break his own record and win 7 in a row...he is also the only one not to wither during his final TDF. great race today.

George Friggin' Hincapie! Good for him, he's been Lance's loyal copatriot for every one of his Tour victories.
