No butthurt here, it's just interesting to see how Miami would have done not facing a team 8 games under .500 in the first round and facing a team without their top three players in the second round.

What do you think?

They beat the best team in the West. None of the other teams in the West would have beat them. The poll is stupid.

1) Tougher teams in the West. Even the Rockets or Lakers had the potential to be 3 seeds in the East.
2) Teams like the Warriors and Rockets can get hot and beat ANY team.
3) The West is tougher to get out of. WAY tougher.
4) Fatigue comes in for playing GOOD teams.

Idiot.

If you won the title, you've proven to be the best team in the League at that time, no matter what conference you are from. So, yes.

West was weak this year. The only team that had a chance to beat them was the Spurs.

They almost loose against Indiana and San Antonio, I dont think they would beat every West team in 7 games, remember 1 more free throw on Manu on game 6 and Miami would be a fake ass team full of celebrities, but he ruined everything and they are ¨DA BEST TEAM EVA DA TEAM TO BEAT NOBODY WILL BEAT THEM EVA EVA EVA EVA EVA EVA¨

I was pondering the other day how Memphis would do against the Heat. They had some of the ingredients to match up against Miami.

1) 2 dominate post players in Randolph and Gasol
2) 2 effective perimeter defenders in Allen and Prince
3) A skilled and efficient PG in Conley

The only thing they lack was bench play and consistent perimeter scoring, and unfortunately for them they ran into a Spurs team whom just had their number.

We were 25-5 against the West:lol

the Spurs were the only team in the West that were good enough to beat us. We would have destroyed any other team.

Since when does the road to the Finals make a difference? Champion teams are challenged all the time in the early rounds n it doesn't make it harder for them in the later rounds anyways.

The Grizzlies had their flaws but, can you imagine what Zbo and Gasol would do to their front court? It would've been ugly.

All the teams in the conference finals were bad matchups for the Heat.

Of course they would have.

The Grizz are awful at shooting the 3 and the Spurs ability to shoot the 3 is what had them in a position to win the series.

Miami would have swept Memphis just like we did.
