Just another day in LA...went out with the gang last night to Sushi dan. Typical hot spot in LA...the only celeb in the house was sitting behind us aka Jason Segal from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. He was with his girl and didn't want to bother.

Anyway, on the way out of the place...I looked up before our next destination and I saw this shit and it ruined my mood. I had to take a pic of this. This shit seriously was the whackest thing I've ever seen in all my years living out here.

In all my years of living in Los Angeles...I've never seen anything like this. I had to deal with alot of bullshit as a Laker fan like when Magic got the butt sex disease..or when Shaq left and sold out to Miami...when Kobe bluffed about leaving. But no matter what, I've never seen our team beg for anyone to stay...much less this faygo drinking glorified Ben Wallace.

Shit has changed too much, and its going to take a long time for this organization to figure things out. It was just another day in LA...but this sign makes me feel like the times are changing for the worst for us Laker fans.

if the Lakers Let D12 go, fire Dantoni let MWP play hisncontract out and bite the bullet next year they could try and actually build something with draft picks and good value, chemistry based, free agents.

gotta have a good, respectable coach tho.

Never thought I ever see the Lakers having to resort to an ad campaign to beg a player to stay. That shit is what the small market teams have to do. Times are changing.

Because of Game 6 and the aftermath of Game 7 when Pop ran around kissin' anybody with a surfboard & black pigment we can safely scratch Pop offin' that list.

You stayed after the debacles of Game 6 & 7. Don't let this sway ya.

Lol No. congratulatory comments towards the winning team from the losing coach is customary.

to be fair Miami was the more talented team. Cant be mad at Pop for not being butt hurt. too classy of an organization for that.

You're far too kind. Debasing yourself after Game 7 like Pop did is beneath contempt. Just because he wasn't hung up by his Buster Browns for it by a skewed Media don't mean it didn't take place. Years from now we'll hear the rumbling about that scene. He'll be canonized by then, hopefully locked at 4. tee, hee.

This is such an L.A. post.... in mentioning dinner and a desperate campaign to keep a player most of L.A. doesn't even like, you can't help name dropping what minor league celebrity you saw in the place. Hilariously sad and irrelevant. Was Jason wearing a shirt made of silk or 100% Egyptian cotton? What brand of shoes did his girl have on??

I see your base has settled on this as the drum beat, the talking points, the marching orders. Once again you can't take it. You can only dish it. You won't take the loss naked and without exception. Your base is a piss pot loser. That'll makes you at victory(God forbid)...a piss pot winner.

Yeah but without Pop they aren't there in the first place, shit was just a huge fluke. Remember game 4 in '84? Magic was in his prime and still came through with the bads at the end of regulation.

Yep, that's some Cleveland-style game they're running.

Buss dies and shit goes to hell. Almost feel sorry for you guys, but you have 16 titles so go fuck yourselves :lol

Real talk though that is massively whack and desperate, never thought I'd see the mighty Laker franchise begging for a player. Probably because they know they're in a transition period, Kobe and Pau are old and untradeable, and without resigning Dwight they will be stuck in shit for the next 3-5 years. But I'm sure some dumbfuck owner will giftwrap the Lakers Demarcus Cousins or Lamarcus Aldridge or something and propel them back to relevancy. Such is the way for the Lakers

If we end up getting Dwight back, I suppose it wasnt for nothing. Whats painfully obvious is we wont end up getting him and the signs will now be a memory of another horrible event that was the 2012-13 season.

Jim Buss has managed to destroy his fathers franchise in 2 years, its going to take Jeanie and Phil to patch things up.
