If it were McLiar or Bishop Gecko, they'd already be well armed by Repugs, months ago, and CC would have NO PROBLEM with Repugs arming Syrian rebels.

USA can't because "it's addicted to (MidEast) oil" and all carbon energy and you right wingers love it that way.

We were having a talk about this at work today. I don't see how you can "modernize" a country that thinks it's ok to marry 10 year olds, to "honor kill" family members that dishonor you, etc etc. If I had to guess at a country that was straddling the line of modernity and barbarism/savagery/opposite of modernity, I'd have to say Egypt. Curious to see which side Egypt comes out on.

You know how you modernize a country? You trade with them to make the country (not just the rulers) rich.

You don't blow up them back into the 12th century and then act surprised that that is what they act like.

raise federal tax on transport fuel to make hybrid and electric more attrative.

use the tax revenues to fund a Manhattan Project for battery research

a carbon tax on all carbon/CO2 emitting industries, with cap and trade. You emit pollutants, YOU pay the tax.

now gfy

I'm willing to pay more for transport fuel and electricity to fund non-carbon energy development, and public transport like local light rail and high-speed regional rail, but People Like You block all such taxes.

I'm designing a 4Kw PV array, but CPS' resistance to distributed energy generation is probably long term. When I get the array going, I'll sell my gas water heater for an electric one.

However, residential rebate amounts will remain unchanged, Lewis said.

Is this about Obamas treason and aiding Al Qaeda? If it is, the fake liberals don't wanna talk about it. On the other hand the right would defend if a Republican was doing it.

That should tell both sides something. But it won't.

"Free Syrian Army" is just not the case. Assad mentioned these savages being the cause of the unrest in that interview with Barbra Walters a year or 2 ago, yet the ziobot & mainstream news just completely ignored it.

Son of a bitch wants to give guns to these thugs but refuses to give guns to the American people to protect themselves, typical logic of them liberals. they're like a rattler chasing its own tail, they'll end up biting it and it's gonna hurt

US interference and interest in destabilizing in the middle east is what caused these fucking crazies to come to power in the first place. Iran was actually a very open and progressive place in the early 70's.
